My 23rd BirthDay

It's been a long time since I last updated on this long forgotten blog which I have half turned it into a photograph hosting website haha... Anyway, took quite alot of photos lately and didnt really have the time to sort them out. According to the Digital Times ( my fave supplement from ST), the new and most importantly FREE photo editing freeware by google, Picasa2, is supposed to be a great software that is comparable to adobe photoshop. Ha...since I nvr used photoshop before, i had no great comments on Picasa2 except it does make sorting and organisation of ur digital shots easier..anyway enough of advertising for them...

As the title suggest...i'm supposed to talk abt my 23rd birthday. Strictly speaking im nt yet 23 yr old officially since my birthday is on 3rd April..anyway i had an early celebration with my 'Twin'JJ at the Thai Village restaurant @ Goodwood Park on 31st March. Think we have been celebrating our birthdays together since our 21st one, the most memorable one so far ha. Food was quite good considering that we din have to pay for it haha since JJ gave us a treat with her voucher. We had a better time pressing the high-tech looking mini control panel on the table to ask for "More Water", "SErvice" , "Order" and of coz "Cancel"( there is also the "Bill" button but we nvr pressed it haha). I guess the buttons r supposed to serve us better but i dun tink its that effective, with waiters taking our tea pots away without returning us... Serving 2 dishes without giving us our Rice....Green Curry Chicken that's taking forever to come... and our teas that's nvr been refilled promptly.. Discussed abit abt our upcoming Bangkok trip which involves me, wj, lian, yf, dee and CY. I guess we will have our great thai food feast over there heeee....looking forward to it!!!! since this will be my 1st overseas trip on a plane...( No Kidding!)

1 more thing to add: Thanks to Lian who make all these efforts to buy us the cake and the presents and of coz WJ (with 2 pending essays to submit the next day), GS ( who's tired frm work), dee (for her present!), CY ( taking time from mugging for exams), YF (with pending projectsss) and esp Twin JJ (who org the whole thing).

Actually, ever since the 21st birthday, I felt quite indifferent to birthdays now...perhaps afraid of growing OLD.... sigh... esp now tt i'm finally going to say goodbye to the good old student days..sobz... Maybe I shld see this day as a day to be grateful to my mama who brought me to Earth haz..Although as compared to my elder sis, mine was considered an easy delivery. somehow feel abit sad to see my mama aged and having aches here and there.. N recently my grandma came to our place to stay over for a week... she seems to have shrank in size and her back is so haunched that she is literally looking at the grd when she walks..and her legs are giving her probs too...sighz...

Juz some random thoughts as i'm abt to approach my quarter-life crisis haha...
