contradicting title but it's really a day of mixed unluckiness and fun with my best fren today. It started with the alarm i set with my new hp to wake me up at 945am coz meeting wj at clementi Kbox at 1050 for our 11-2pm KTV. though it went off at 945am sharp, its kinda muffled due to the new plastic transparent cover i wrapped over it to protect it from all external elements. So i guess it din wake me up.....until my mum came n asked me if im waking up..gosh its already 1010am...so i quickly got ready n left the hse ard 1030 hoping that i wld be lucky to get onto the bus and reach juz in time since the journey took abt 20-25mins w/o jams. This muz be the worse moment in my long history of bus waiting....the stupid 184 took 15mins to arrive and i board the bus with my most sulkiest face ever at 1047am....there were large crowd of ppl boarding 184 at every bus-stop n i bet every1 muz be late le lo...yet the bus driver was driving so slowly...or perhaps thats my imagination...BUT the worst thingy happened at the bus stop before the beauty world stop...the driver spoke on his hp for a long while with all of us anxiously looking in front to show our displeasure...but since i was listening to my mp3 in my hp, i cldnt catch wad the driver was saying after he put down his phone, its obvious that the bus had BROKE down when all doors burst open n pissed pple went out. It was already 1055am and im stuck in a bus stop nowhere near to clementi and the onli bus to clement is 184....i wanna hail a cab but of coz there r dozens out there flagging for one..so when i saw bus 75 coming, i simply hopped on the bus to take me away from tat unlucky spot....trying to keep a calm head to think of alternative bus to reach my destination.
anyway i alighted at ngee ann poly n din wait for long for 154 to pick me up...i tot my luck has come back...BUT...at the road b4 the bus make a right turn into clementi , it suddenly stopped in the middle of the road.... crossing my fingers to will the bus to kick back into movement..the driver restart the engine n it made some roaring noise for some 30s..b4 it MOVED!! yeah!! i need juz 2 more stops to make it... N if that bus realli broke down...i realli had no idea how to get there..
Finally i reached kbox at 1129am. i tot of climbing the stairs to lvl 2 in case i got stuck in the lift...anyway, the fun ktv session made up for my tedious journey thou i din start out well, i was pleasently surprised to find syz's latest songs Ben, Wo de Ai, Wo ye heng xiang ta and Tong lei. Had a great time singing Ben and laughing coz wj sang abit too slow for the fast paced song..haha..N we even sang an extra 20mins, making up for my lost time there. tink they din realli care abt the timing since the place looked quite empty now that school started.
Wj acc me to sunset way to cut my long long hair (last cut on Aug 04)(actually i was kinda unlucky yest too...coz i came to the salon with my bf onli to find it closed on tuesday!!!) quite satisfied with my new look thou it may nt look obvious to all. The hair stylist is very friendly and chatty esp helpful in answering wj's countless qns on her new hairstyle she wanna have...(thou i feel this made him abit distracted while cutting my hair hahaha...scared..) Left the place ard 430pm thinking of where to fill our stomach since we onli had pastry for klunch. we tot of the XO fishhead mifen at holland V but we simply cldnt find it haha so we had to take another bus to west mall reaching there ard 530pm in time to catch the repeat of Hai you min tian II on the cool plasma tv at the new revamped foodcourt. I had my usual yong tau foo while wj tried the new stall of ramen, Ban mian (thou she ordered E-mee, every1 called it the Ban mian). I guess we r both too hungry n the food r quite delicious that our bowls were completely empty in the end haha. Went to shop ard west mall...again for me coz i juz been there the day b4 to watch a movie. N back to the food court again to catch Happy Fish and cuppa kopi C haha..taste as good as HANS! think that's the nicest part of the day sharing good food n good tv spot and good coffee haha...we went home ard 830pm and stood at the bus stop to snap photos with our hp haha so siao... but anyway the photos turned out ok to be put as image for incoming calls so that the caller's face wld be displayed.
Anyway...my unlucky day had nt ended for me juz yet... came home wanna play some maple story onli to find that there is another patch and it juz wun work for me....sianz...now downloading the new setup.exe that is 174MB and takes another 5 hrs to complete..SIANZ...guess its time to stop my escape from my Disstn ...sobz...
Hope my 2005 wun be so unlucky .....fingers crossed.....
